The NBDGHA has once again teamed up with the Nipissing Lakers Women’s Hockey team this holiday season! On Wednesday December 4th bring a non-perishable food item to the Lakers game as they take on the Waterloo Warriors at 5pm. Following the game stick around for a holiday skate with the Lakers Women’s Hockey team. The skate will begin immediately following the game (approx. 7pm) and will wrap up at 8pm. We are hoping to top last years food drive which raised $400 of cash donations and 900 pounds of food. We are encouraging each team to collect non-perishable food items/monetary donations. If your team is unable to attend on Wednesday December 4th we ask that 1 member of your team please arrange to drop you donations off at the Gardens between 4pm and 8pm on December 4th or contact an executive member to make alternate arrangements.
